Mixed signals.

So today I am on my way to lunch, minding my own business. I had had a bottle of sweet tea in my locker that was about half empty so I decided to take it with me. I have had a sore throat for awhile so I took a drink finishing it off, and a teacher stops me telling me no drinks are allowed in the hallways. Okay seems fair and I was finished with my drink anyways so I pitched the bottle and kept on walking to the cafeteria.
Then it donned on me. The teacher who made the comment about the drink had just started taking the cap off of her water bottle, and the teacher next to her had a massive cup in her hand.
I shared this incident with another teacher and she said they were teachers and could do whatever they wanted. Except for wear casual jeans.
This got me thinking. Rules are rules, correct? A school is full of rules and if you attend that school you are expected to abide by them. Weather you are a teacher or a student. If I'm expected to keep my language clean the same should go for you. If I am expected to be respectful to other teachers the same should go for you. If there are no food or drinks allowed in the hallway then you should not be standing there drinking your water, and eating your crackers. It doesn't matter if you are a 62 year old teacher or a 14 year old student. Keep the rule the same. You telling me to throw away my drink while you are opening the cap on yours, would be like both of us on our smoke break and you giving me a lecture about how it is bad for me, and to quit now.
All I am going to do is laugh at your face, and wonder if you understand how dumb you really do look.

Stupidity in the most common form.

Daily I am surrounded by those in this world who are slightly less than bright. Many of you would agree if you knew the personality's of those I attend school with.
After toughing it out through the day I get home and begin to relax. Moments later I receive a text message, this wouldn't be a great big deal if I didn't know that this message was sent for the sole purpose of starting drama. Because that is what high school girls do, start drama. When they become bored with their own life they decide to spice it up a bit. A few rumors here. Couple of text messages sent. And there you have it. Good 'ole drama. So I read the message and immediately see through all of the crap and find the true story. You see I myself made a simple side comment about a 'friend'. I myself didn't mention the 'friend's' name. The few surrounding me recognized who I was talking about. Almost immediately the selective hearing kicked in. Words are twisted and now all arrows point at me, The Bad Guy. Now here's the stupid part. I'm not a moron. When you sit there and tell me a # of people told you 'what I said' it doesn't take me long to know who it is you're talking about. I know these people are less than happy with me because I have recently refused to do everything they say. You could say i have become somewhat defiant to their commands. I know who started this crap. I know why, and frankly I don't care. They have made a fool out of themselves and you for trying to put us against each other. You may not see it but everyone else does.
So next time I suggest you all put a little more thought into the drama you are trying to cause and don't let your low I.Q.'s take over. Your better than that. Maybe tomorrow I can make another harmless comment and we can try again. This time see if you can fool me, instead of causing me to pity you and your stupid childish ways of causing drama.
